The Puspa tree (Schima wallichii (D.C.) Korth.) is often used in reforestation and forest restoration activities. seed propagation techniques can be applied by generative or vegetative plant propagation. lack of nutrients causes the availability seeds very limited. Organic are to obtain quality fertile plants accelerate growth. In this study, organic from Hydrilla plants. This study aimed determine best application compost on growth seedlings. research method quantitative. a randomized block design (RBD) with levels 3 treatments nine groups, so there were 27, samples taken for each group, 81 tillers. H0 (2000 grams topsoil), H1 topsoil 200 hydrilla compost), H2 400 compost). work was making compost, preparing puspa seeds, planting caring seeds. observed variables rate (%), number leaves (strands), height (cm), stem diameter (mm), growing root length (cm). results showed that treatment gave heights significantly different, an average 8.45 cm, 11 strands lengths 4.13 mm.
